Fed: Christmas holiday road toll at 22

SYDNEY, Dec 21 AAP - After a horrific start to the Christmas holiday travel season,
there have been no fatalities reported on Australian roads on Monday, with the toll remaining
at 22.

Ten people have lost their lives on NSW roads, four in Victoria and three in Queensland.

Two people have been killed in Western Australia, while one person has died in each
of South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

The Australian Capital Territory remains fatality-free.
