NSW: Iemma challenges Debnam's performance as company director

NSW Premier MORRIS IEMMA has challenged Opposition Leader PETER DEBNAM's ability to
manage the state's finances .. citing his past performances as a company director.

During question time Mr IEMMA told parliament .. Mr DEBNAM had been a director of an
aquaculture and prawn research company between 1987 and 1992 .. where it had gone from
a net profit of 129 dollars when Mr DEBNAM joined to being liquidated.

Mr IEMMA also attacked Mr DEBNAM for the time he spent as director of stock and station
agents David Russell & co between 1990 and 1992 .. where profits also declined.
