NSW:MyHospital figures wrong, NSW Libs
The New South Wales opposition says the MyHospital website will be of no use to the
state's patients .. because the figures provided by the state government are wrong.
The website is launched today .. and includes information on almost one thousand public
and private hospitals around the country.
State opposition health spokeswomen JILLIAN SKINNER says figures about waiting lists
provided by the Keneally government are deceptive.
She says a surgeon can't get a NSW patient onto the official waiting list .. unless
they can book them into theatre within one year.
Ms SKINNER says the government's also placed patients on the .. not ready for care
.. list because they were approaching their due date .. meaning they're no longer counted
on official waiting lists.
