The Albany County Republican Committee has endorsed Vice President George Bush as the 1988 Republican presidential candidate.
"It would help the (local) party in the future," county GOP Chairman George Scaringe said Friday about impact of the endorsement if Bush were elected president.
Scaringe also named Colonie town Councilman Paul J. Burgdorf Jr. as county coordinator for the Bush campaign. Burgdorf also is the coordinator of Bush's Capital District campaign.
