FED: Lees suffering from selective memory loss over Medicare
CANBERRA, Jan 11 AAP - Australian Democrats Leader Meg Lees was suffering from selective
memory loss when she criticised Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett for supporting a US-style
health care system, doctors said today.
Mr Kennett, who has advocated the scrapping of Medicare, warned last week that Australia's
health system would be in chaos within five years if action was not taken now to reform it.
Australian Doctors' Fund Executive Director Stephen Milgate said Senator Lees had accused
